

Rosario V. Clarion Sr., 84 of Kahului, passed away peacefully, under Hospice care at Island Hospice on April 4, 2026. He was born on October 5, 1941, in the Philippines to the Late Reynaldo & Juana Clarion.
Rosario worked at the Pioneer Mill, Ali‘i & Taxi, Ritz Carlton, Marriott, Cruise Ship Security, Sheraton, Sea House, and Pizza Hut.
Rosario loved to garden, play cards, gamble, crabbing, jokes, spending time with family, Vegas, and going to the Philippines.
He is survived by Wife, Imelda Clarion; Step-mom, Clarita Clarion; Sisters, Saturnina Lapus and Cynthia Tanaka; Sons, Rosario Clarion Jr. and Brendon Clarion; Daughters, Leilani Clarion (deceased) and Lovelyn Resurreccion; Grandchildren, Deanna Asuncion, Kamakani Clarion, Kaysha Tejero, Po‘okela Clarion, Sami Lei Saribay, Austin Saribay, Landon Furukawa, Jacob Resurreccion (deceased), Leah Resurreccion, Chloe Rose Resurreccion, Carmela Resurreccion, Logan Kennedy Furukama (deceased), Hunter Johnson; Great Grandchildren, Emmalei Akima, Euriyah Akima, Tristan Akima, Lei-Ana Clarion, Naiah Clarion, Kailana Clarion.
Funeral Service for Rosario, will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Norman’s Mortuary, Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m., Service at 7:00 p.m.; 2nd day service will continue at Norman’s Mortuary on Saturday, May 9, 2026 with Visitation at 8:00 a.m., Service at 10:00 a.m., Lunch at 11:00 a.m. Burial at 12:00 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park – Maui View.
