Ruth Dando

Ruth Momilani Kepo'o Dando of Kahakuloa, passed away on August 29, 2025 at 9:32 p.m., in Wailuku, Maui. She was born in Hilo, Hawai‘i on March 16, 1946 to The Late Enos Foster Kepo‘o & The Late Ruth Kaluna Pupule.

Ruth loved doing Arts & Crafts, Floral Designs, Creating Seed Lei's, Gardening, Cooking & Baking and Reading her Bible.

Ruth is survived by her children, Larrieann (Waldemar) Pagan, Triva (Adam) Kepo'o, Nancy Hoffman, The Late Joseph Hoffman Jr., Penny (Stephen) King, 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She is also survived by Her Brothers & Sisters: Marilyn Wong, Rose Beasley, David Kepo'o, Marlene Kepo'o, Hannah Miyashiro, Palmyra Hethcote, Peter Kamealoha, Albert Kamealoha, Deborah Tolentino, Moses Iokua.

Ruth is predeceased by her husbands Joseph Hoffman & James Dando, her siblings, Paulette Ahoi, Francis Carter, Enos K. Kepo'o, John Kepo'o, Nancy Cole Leoana Kepo'o, Johnette Cambra and Leroy Kamealoha.

She will forever be missed.
