Family and friends are invited to gather for her funeral services on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at BALLARD FAMILY MORTUARY, with visitation from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, services at 4:00 pm, with cremation to follow.
She was the Program Director of Friends of Moku`ula, a non-profit organization. The Friends of Moku`ula cultivates awareness of the Hawaiian culture through restoration, preservation, education and revitalization of Moku`ula island and Mokuhinia ponds.
She is survived by her mother, Louise Medeiros; step-father, Peter Keau; son, Brandon Kaha’i; hanai daughter, Anabelle Paet, hanai grandson, Damien Paet Dumayas; sister, Bernadine “Bernie” Kauweloa; brothers, James (Marilyn) Medeiros, Joseph Kaha’i, Jr., and Matthew (Maria) Keau; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Kaha’i, Sr.
