

Simeon was born in Cagayan, Philippines on April 19, 1925 to Ciriaco and Paula (Guillermo) Corpuz. He was the oldest boy of 7 children. He migrated to Maui, Hawaii in 1973 and since then, he made Lahaina his home.
He was a retired field worker for Pioneer Mill Company. He was a faithful member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) in the Lahaina Congregation. Gardening was his passion. Everyday since he retired, he was always in the garden attending to his Filipino vegetables and fruits. He will be remembered by all his hard work, love and care for his family, and making his grandchildren/great-grandchildren laugh. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
He is survived by his 5 sons, Manny (Pacita) Corpuz, Felix (Norma) Corpuz, Andres (Nena) Corpuz, Rolando (Belinda) Corpuz and Rodrigo (Gemma) Corpuz all of Lahaina; 2 daughters, Lilibeth (Manuel) Corpuz Galanga of San Jose, California and Lilian (Rey) Corpuz-Licudan of Lahaina; a son-in-law, Dominador Duque of Lahaina; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Salome Corpuz Redondo of Lahaina; and a brother, Clemente Corpuz of Cagayan, Philippines.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Adelina Agustin Corpuz; his daughter, Virginia Corpuz Duque; 1 sister and 3 brothers.
Visitation will be on March 25 (6:00 pm to 9:00 pm) at Borthwick Norman's Mortuary. Visitation will continue on March 26 (8:00 am to 10:00 am) at the mortuary. Burial will follow at 10:30 am at Maui Memorial Park.
