Thomas “Coach Tom” M. Matsumoto, 66, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on April 13, 2017. He was born on May 7, 1950, in Puunene. A celebration of his life will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Grace Bible Church, with visitation from 2:30 p.m. Please come join us as we celebrate “a life well lived.” The family requests no wreaths.Tom worked in construction. He also coached for the Maui swim Club for over a decade. He is survived by his wife, Linda “Kiki” Matsumoto; mother, Nancy Matsumoto; sons, Brandan Matsumoto, Kiakahi Matsumoto, Ponia Matsumoto; daughter, Kaimi Matsumoto; siblings, Amy Matsumoto, Norris Matsumoto, and Thelma Akita-Kealoha.
