

Thomas was a proud alumnus of Lahainaluna High School, Class of 1984. He went on to build a career as a dedicated heavy equipment operator, known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand. Thomas carried himself with quiet strength, deep love for his family, and a steadfast connection to his Lahaina roots.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara May Holmes, and his father, James Faye Kaaiohelo Lindsey Jr.
Thomas is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Tiffany (Jacob), Hoku (Trevor), Hawea, and Wai’ihi; his son, Kuahiwi; his cherished grandchildren, Maile and Kahekili; his brothers, James “Kimo” (Leimaile) Lindsey and Joseph “Kekuhi” (Melissa) Lindsey; and his companion, Amy Carpenter. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews, nieces, and many dear friends who will miss his presence dearly.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Norman’s Mortuary. Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., with services from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a lite lunch.
Thomas will be remembered for his love of family, his enduring friendships, and the many lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
