John A Holt

John A. Holt, age 78, of Walbridge, passed away on December 12, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. John was born in Pulaski, TN. on September 5, 1936 to D. Allen & Annie (Ridner) Holt. He married Lynda Noelle on June 1, 1963. He was 32nd Degree Mason belonging to Genoa Lodge #433, as well as a member of the Scottish Rite. A Freight Conductor for CSX, John was a devoted husband, father, brother, friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his loving wife, Linda; son, Michael (Teresa) Holt; daughter, Michelle Holt; brothers, David (Bonnie) Holt; Dan (Sue) Holt; sisters, June Ring; Maggie (Billy) Hopwood and Bettie Moosman.

There will be no public visitation. Funeral services for John will begin at 10 am on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge, Ohio (419-666-3121). Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Memory Care Unit at the Browning Masonic Complex.
