Charles L. "Sonny" Duvall

Charles Lindberg Duvall, Sr. "Sonny" of Brandywine, Maryland. Born January 13, 1928 passed away peacefully on May 8, 2011 after battling cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Mildred Duvall Moreland and Roy Duvall as well as his daughter Joan Beall, Sisters Delores and Alice and Brothers Elmer and James. He is remembered by his loving wife Myrtle Duvall of 58 years. His sons, William Beall and his wife Janet, and Charles Duvall and his wife Tammy. His brothers, George and John Moreland, Grandchildren: Jannette, Lisa, Jason, Sherry, Roy and Andy and six great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Duvall was a longtime employee of Prince Georges County Public Schools and Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission up until 2010. He loved his job as a park Maintenance Worker blowing leaves and cutting grass. He loved farming and taking care of his flowers. He will truly be missed by all his family and friends. Family will receive friends at The Huntt Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm, where funeral service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 10:00 am. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his mane to The Hospice of Prince George's County.
