

Charlotte ‘Charlie’ Louise (Nalley) Sears of Waldorf passed away from Congestive Heart Failure on Monday, January 27, 2020. She was born on September 8, 1951 in Washington, DC to Joseph Donaldson and Ellen Louise (Capps) Donaldson, whom have both preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death in 1990 by her first husband and high school sweetheart, father to her daughters, Samuel Eugene Nalley, who she married in 1969.
Charlie had a long career with the Government Printing Office from which she retired in the mid-1990s and was now active in her local Red Hatters and enjoyed bowling in the Waldorf area.
Charlie found love again and married David Brenise Sears on July 7, 1997. Together they spent several years in Florida, moved back to Maryland; enjoyed taking cruises and traveling together. They had become inseparable.
Charlie is survived by her husband David, her two daughters Casi Neveleff (Jerry) and Heather Griffin (Phillip); her five grandchildren Sarah Ziegler, Samantha Crawford (Brian), Jada Arroyo, Steven Neveleff (Leslie) and Lucian Neveleff and a great-granddaughter LunaRae Louise Crawford; her three sisters, Susan Englehart (Gary), Connie Linassi, Nancy Peaper (Wayde) and her brother Thomas Linassi (Pam); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Tony Linassi Jr. (Mickie). and step-father Tony Linassi Sr.
Charlie has such a large, loving family, extended family and a multitude of friends, the list could go on and on so as to mention everyone that she touched and that touched her life. She was someone that once you met her, you would not soon forget.
The family will be accepting visitors at the Sears Home on Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 1pm to 6pm. For directions please contact a family member.
