I was blessed to have known Della for over25 years.  She was a warm  and giving friend who loved sharing her life with family and friends.   Her happy place was providing a warm and inviting place for family and  friends to gather to enjoy life and each other.  
I will miss our conversations and visits.

Girlie God blessed you with diverse gifts whether it was flower arrangements or making baby baskets as gifts for expecting mothers.Girlie could decorate like nobody and made a home look as if it was professionally done!

Not only were we good friends and co-workers, you were like a sister to me.  Whenever, I was introduced to someone you knew, I was always introduced as your baby sister.  I will forever love you and miss you.  I will miss all of your wonderful events, gatherings and parties.  If there was ever a holiday, I knew I could always visit your home without an invitation.  Close friends like you are very rare.  I loved you but GOD loves you more.  You are now at peace.  Heaven has smiled heavily upon you.

In Memory of a Wonderful Friend

It is heartbreaking to say goodbye to someone who brought so much light, warmth, and joy into my life. The bond we shared—transitioning from colleagues to true, deeply connected friends—is a testament to the special kind of person she was.

•	Her Radiant Spirit:  Her contagious smile and genuine kindness had a magnetic quality. Anyone who crossed her path instantly felt welcomed and valued, effortlessly becoming a friend.
•	Unforgettable Memories:  From the laughter shared at parties and gatherings to the practical wisdom and home improvement tips (she truly loved and had a flair for decorating).  Every moment spent with her was a gift.  She possessed a wonderful spirit, inside and out, that you couldn't help but look up to and aspire to emulate.
•	Brave Journey:  She fought a long, courageous, and hard battle with incredible grace. While the weight of her absence is heavy, there is comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended and she is finally at peace and free.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of everyone who loved her and everyone she inspired. She will never be forgotten, and her memory will remain a blessing to all she touched forever.

I’m so saddened to hear of Della’s passing.  I worked with Della for many years and  she was such a pleasure to be around.  Such a kind spirit and always willing to help.  She will be missed! 

To the family, I pray that God’s peace and love will comfort you during this moment of grief and sorrow.  HE is with you and with Della.

If you had the privilege of spending time with Della, it did not take long to realize there was something different about her, something truly special. She had a way of making people feel cared for, valued, and important. Della always put others first. Her family, friends, colleagues, and customers were people she genuinely cared about and loved.

I had the privilege of working side by side with Della for more than two decades. Even when I was not sitting right next to her, she remained a steady influence in my life. She made me want to be a better person and inspired me to be more like her, to lead with kindness, care deeply for others, and always put people first.

Della leaves behind a legacy that will last throughout all of our lifetimes. Sixty-seven years on this earth was not nearly enough. We all wanted more time with her, more conversations, more laughter, and more memories. But what she has left behind may be one of her greatest gifts. Her kindness, love, and compassion will continue to live through every person whose life she touched.

As difficult as this loss is for the community that Della was such an important part of and for me, I know the pain her family feels is immeasurable. Please know that so many people are thinking of you, praying for you, and surrounding your family with love.

Della was so much more than a friend or coworker. She was family. She welcomed so many of us into her life and always found ways to keep us connected. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered. I feel incredibly blessed to have known her and to have been changed for the better because she was part of my life.

Nothing could be better than to know our Della. My awesome daughter in law gave so much love and will be missed.We love you, but God loves you best , and so He has given you rest.
