Donald Frederick Weiland passed away on April 23, 2020 at the age of 77 years. He was born January 20, 1943 in Lorain, Ohio, son of the late Donald and Ruth Weiland. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Clare, his son Alan (Beverly) Weiland of Springfield, PA, daughter, Kay (Michael) Tomassi of Severna Park, MD, grandchildren Olivia and Shane, three siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald graduated from Ohio State University in 1966 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for 42 years as an electrical engineer with the Federal Communications Commission.
Donald was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved traveling with his family, and his favorite hobby was enjoying his vast collection of trains.
