Donna Lee Stephenson

On Tuesday June 5, 2012 of Newburg, MD. Born November 23, 1923 in Nebraska to the late Emil F. Ude and Estelle Drummett Ude. After graduating from Hunbolt High School in Nebraska Donna boarded a train for Washington, D.C. and got a job at the War Department. Not long after arriving there she met her future husband Willard F. Stephenson. Donna then went to work at Andrews Air Force Base. She retired after 26 years of service. Donna then went to work for Action Travel and through that she traveled the world over. In 1977 she lost her husband. She continued to travel until she retired to take care of her mother. Donna enjoyed her life, always going some place with her club or other friends. Loving wife of the Late Willard F. Stephenson. Beloved mother of J.R. Stephenson and Pam Vevers (Eddie), Grandmother of Stacy Willett, Shannon Garner(Brian), and Great-Grandmother of Brandon Willett(Danita), Corey Willett, and Gavin Garner. She is preceded in death by brother Dale Ude, Sr. Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 2-7 pm.at The Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland, where funeral service's will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldoraf, Maryland. Pall bearers will be Brandon Willett, Corey Willett, Brian Garner, Sockie Zois, Tony Richards and Bobby Lanham. Honorary pall bearer, Gavin Garner. Donations may be made in Donna's name to Hospice of Charles County. Pastor Berinie Perry will officiate.
