Dorothy B Willett

Dorothy is predeceased in death by her husband, William Robert Goldsmith, Sr. (deceased 1982), Horace E. Willett (deceased 2017); her parents Rufus and Maggie Pickeral; and two brothers, Lee and Wallace Pickeral.

Dorothy is survived by her children, William R. Goldsmith, Jr. (Lorraine), Elaine Vick (Gary), Carol A. Smith (Charlie) and Robin Huggins (Giles). Grandchildren, Susan Ackman (Bill), Dwight Vick, Wendy Harding, Shannon Ellis (Ed) and Nick Ellis (Chrissy), Jennifer George (Ben) and Kristine Schoneman (Brian). Twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Dorothy enjoyed traveling, Classic Country Music, and dancing, dancing and more dancing! She also very much enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Dorothy lived a full and good life. She will be truly missed, but we know that she's happy and at peace.

In memory of Dorothy, say a kind word, give a wave, or a smile to someone you see in a store, on the street, in a building, wherever. You never know who's day you will brighten by making an expression of caring and kindness. Dorothy could brighten anyone's day by doing just this.

The family invites friends to a visitation on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD, where services will follow at 2:00 P.M. The procession will then take Dorothy to her final resting place in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD
