April 28, 1978- October 12, 2014
Although Jen’s life may have seemed too short, those who were touched by her understand that the quality of her life far exceeds the quantity of time in which she lived it. From an early age Jen was a lover of people and animals alike; she was frequently adopting strays of both the two and four legged variety and doing the best she could to make them whole again. She had a kind heart and loving disposition that made everyone feel “at home”.
Although she struggled and faced adversity in her life she was never cynical, she was never one to linger on the negative. She used the hurdles she faced in her life to her advantage, and was pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, having already received an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences in Human Services from Kaplan University.
Above all Jen was devoted to her family. The love she had for her children and her family was palpable and ever present. With Jen’s passing we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss her every day, especially her compassionate spirit, she will be in our hearts forever.
Jen is survived by her son Sean Ray and stepson Brandon Weyhenmeyer; parents Pam and Bob Titus and Bob and Mary Kelty; 4 siblings and their spouses, Crystal and Steven Merica, Shannon and Thomas Kelardy, Matt and Bonnie Titus, and Christopher Titus; 2 nephews Brandon Burkett and Dewey Kelardy. She is also survived by two furbabies Sampson and Rogue.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jennifer Weyhenmeyer Fund to benefit her son. To make donation please visit www.jenniferweyhenmeyerfund.com
