Kassy Lampkins

On Saturday, December 19, 2020, Kassy Lampkins, loving wife of Lester and mother of Devante, passed away at the age of 47. Kassy was born on February 10, 1973 in Sharon Pennsylvania to Paul and Kathleen (Slattery) Purash. Mrs. Lampkins was a 1991 Graduate of the Farrell Area High School in Farrell Pa. She was employed for Twenty-one years as a certified Child Care Provider at Joint Base Bolling Anacostia in Washington D.C. Kassy was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, she made game days an event in the Lampkins Household. Although originally suspicious she became an avid user of social media constantly looking for decorating ideas and talking dog videos. For those that did not know Kassy while she appeared quiet and reserved, she had passion and fire that ran deep that would come to the surface with a variety of colorful language.

She is survived by Lester Lampkins Jr. her husband of 29 years, her cherished son Devante (Fabiola), sisters Karen Wedge, Kelly (Ernest) Dean, Sister in-law Michelle Lampkins and nieces and nephews Dalylah, Tyler, Kayli, Elise, Krysta, Kyle, Kathleen, Kammy and Kaina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her eldest sister Kimberly Duffy and her in-laws Lester Sr. and Clara Lampkins.
