John K. (Kenny) Hott, On Monday, January 10, 2011 John K. (Kenny) Hott, age 35 of Waldorf, Maryland quietly slipped the bounds of earth and was graciously received into the arms of his Heavenly Father. While with us, Kenny was the owner of Hott Waterproofing. During his life, Kenny touched many through his ready smile and love of his family and friends. Those who were close to him, knew him for his affinity for "toys" which he shared with his son. Kenny was born in Fredericksburg Virginia and was preceded on his journey by his paternal grandparents, John Hott and Joan Payne, an uncle, Timmy Groves, his step-father, Steve Dailey and mother-in-law, Tina Foster. He leaves behind his wife Jeanne Hott and a son, Devin Hott of the home. He also leaves his mother, Sandy Dailey, father, Ron Hott, brother, Nicholas Dailey, maternal grandparents, Mickey and Janice Groves, father and mother-in-law, Gary and Suzette Shaw, sisters -in-law, Shauna and Mandy Shaw and two nieces, nichole Dailey and Lexi Lawrence, as well as a host of close friends whom he considered to be a part of the family. Services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Anchor Baptist Church, 10440 Crain Highway, Faulkner, Maryland. The family will welcome friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. followed by a service to Celebrate his Life at 2:00 pm, Pastor Robert Joseph will be officiating. Burial will be private. Nick Dailey, Tony Davis, CJ Shaw, Tay Power, Rocco Bersane, Jimmy Conklin and Wayne Buck will honor him as serving as Pall Bearers for the service. Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland are handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made as contributions to an educational fund established for his son Devin Hott at any Bank of America office.
