Lisa Renee Lachenmayer

September 18, 1962 – June 21, 2022

Lisa Renee (Jones) Lachenmayer passed away at home on June 21, 2022 at the age of 59. Lisa was born on September 18, 1962 in Washington, D.C. to Robert Paul Jones, Sr., and Ethelene Munday Jones. She graduated from Oxon Hill High School in 1980. She was married to Jack Lachenmayer for 39 years and together they had two sons: John “Jacky” Robert and Justin Michael. Lisa worked for the Prince George’s County Public School System in the transportation department.

During the summer, Lisa enjoyed family vacations to South Carolina and spending sunny days at the neighborhood pool. Lisa had a love for animals, particularly Pugs. Lisa and her family adopted many breeds over the years which she loved deeply, especially her beloved dog “baby” which she has left behind.

She is preceded in death by her oldest son, John “Jacky” Lachenmayer, her father, Robert Paul Jones, and step-father, Roland Chew. She is survived by her husband, Jack Lachenmayer of Waldorf, MD; youngest son, Justin Lachenmayer of Waldorf, MD; mother, Ethelene Chew of Clinton, MD; siblings Robert (Sheryl) Jones of La Plata, MD; Cindy (Ronnie) Summers of Charlotte Hall, MD; Jackie (Ana) Jones of Owings, MD and David (Connie) Haun of Madison, AL. She is also survived by a host of nieces of nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Huntt Funeral Home in Waldorf, MD on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
