With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael “Mikey” Kevin Fleming beloved son of Karen K and Patrick D Fleming, and sister, Stephanie L Fleming, on Saturday February 8, 2025 at the age of 44, resident of Waldorf Maryland. Mikey was born in Washington D.C. Mikey worked as a Union Steamfitter. In June 2024, he completed the certificate apprenticeship for journeyman through the Local 602. As a retired Prince Georges County Maryland Firefighter, Mikey was awarded the bronze medal of Valor for saving a family of five in the line of duty.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Abigail “McGraw” Fleming in 2020. Michael is survived by his two sons Kelly and Vincent. Mikey enjoyed being outside dirt bike riding, sports, animals and loved his dogs. Mikey was a very kindhearted and caring individual who loved his sons. He will be greatly missed. Services will be private to friends and family.
