Grandaddy was always able to make someone laugh when they seemed down and quick to put a smile on anyone's face in place of a frown. He was there when I was wed and at my baby shower when I was pregnant with my first born. It's all the little things he said and did in all the moments spent with him that mattered most. Forget you never, Miss you always. Love you Grandaddy.

Dad did not know a stranger, always had a friendly smile, would stop and talk to everyone. Dad always found a way to help one in need.

Dad loved life and lived it to the max, keeping busy. He liked to repair things when it broke or stopped working, keeping the grass cut, and keeping up the wood pile for heat in the coming winter. As time went by and the body was not as young as it once was he did not let the pain stop him from doing what he wanted, just do it slower he would say. I would be there on weekends and do little things at the house and he would say he was going to do that. I would respond by telling him that I got it this time and he could do it next time and that is the way it was.
