Norman served in the United States Army from 1960-1963. Following his service in the Army, he worked as a police officer for the Metropolitan Police Department from 1964-1990. Upon retiring, Norman continued to work at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency from 1992-2005.
He enjoyed movies, hunting, and fishing. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Norman is survived by his daughters, Stacey Kruchesky (Nicholas) and Amy Wallace (David), and his grandchildren, Christopher Lengle, Meagan Wallace, and Ashleigh and Courtney Kruchesky, as well as his uncle, Frankie Horvat, and his aunt, Verna Horvat.
Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at the Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road in Waldorf.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 12:00pm at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at a later date at Heritage Memorial Cemetery in Waldorf.
