Pat enjoyed working with children and did so for 50 years as a counselor and correctional officer. She was a SSND Nun for 18 years. Her favorite things were to go skiing, travel and collect teddy bears.
Patricia is preceded in death by her father and mother Michael and Eleanor Delea; sister Anne Delea. She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Brettman of 37 years; sisters Mary Ellen O’Neil, Martha and Nancy Delea; brother Michael Delea Jr. and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held at the Huntt Funeral Home Waldorf, Maryland on Tuesday October 22, 2013 from 5pm to 8pm. The funeral service will be on Wednesday October 23, 2013 at 1:30pm at St.Peter’s Catholic Church of Waldorf, Maryland. The burial will follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Cheltenham, Maryland.
