Pearl J. Hanson died September 2, 2010 at The Mandeville House in Waldorf, Maryland of natural causes at the age of 94. She was a bank teller and resident of Chicopee, Massachusetts until 2002 when she moved to Waldorf to be close to her family. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church. She was an avid card player and loved to bowl. Predeceased in death by her husband Wilbur Hanson and her parents, Napoleon and Evelina LaMay Guay. She is survived by her son Richard E. Hanson and his wife Cathy of Waldorf, Maryland, daughter Carol Sabonis and her husband Peter of Tampa, Florida, 3 grandsons: David A. Hanson and his wife Janice of Indian Head, Maryland, Scott T. Hanson and his wife JamieLynn of Indian Head, Maryland and Jeff Sabonis of Tampa, Florida, 3 great-granddaughters: Jasmine Pearl Hanson, Jade Marie Hanson and Rosalynn Baciao Hanson all of Indian Head Maryland. One step-granddaughter: Jennifer Williams and one step-great-grandson: Dale Williams of Indian Head. Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at The Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 11:30 AM, Our Lady Help of Christians, Waldorf. Interment will be private.
