Sharon Elizabeth Clagett

Sharon Elizabeth Clagett, a dedicated wife and mother, passed away February 11, 2023. She was born March 23, 1943, in Washington, DC to Captain Thomas Gerald Wadsworth and Doris Elizabeth Singleton Sharon primarily grew up in Cheltenham, MD and married John Hancock Clagett III, on 11 April, 1964. They moved to Accokeek, Maryland in 1965. Sharon worked in the fingerprint identification department of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for several years, leaving upon the birth of her twin sons Jeff & John. Sharon had a passion for art and enjoyed painting and drawing.

She is survived by her husband, John Hancock Clagett III; sons Jeffrey Peter Clagett (Dionyssia) of Alexandria, VA, and John Hancock Clagett IV of Accokeek, MD; daughter Christina Elizabeth Barbour (Michael) of Abell, MD; granddaughter Virginia Elizabeth Barbour of Abell, MD; and sister Gail Luckett of Goldsboro, NC. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Accokeek Christ Church.
