Words cannot describe how amazing of a person Ms. Sharon was. She was not only a colleague, advocate, teacher, and occupational therapist- but most importantly she was a dear friend. She would do anything for anyone, the good, bad, and the ugly.

She always started every meeting with positive uplifting comments that just helped warm the room with her love.

Her J.C. Parks Family had the opportunity to have her bless us with her knowledge, love, and contagious laugh for over four wonderful years. She was always someone that you could personally go vent to or work through problems with. She would always talk through any situation by telling you, “ok, sit down, here’s some candy” and listen intensely. She has helped us through many school related issues and personal as well. As a member of the JC Parks staff, she was always smiling, happy and eager to work with students. Always willing to not only do her individual OT sessions with students, but also help with any need in the classroom whether it be a whole group hands on activity or just a simple game with a group of students.

Her Parks ACHIEVE and SOAR students looked forward to every Monday when they would see Ms. Sharon. Mondays at Parks was a ritual she was never willing to give up. Ms. Sharon had a way to make everyone feel special and loved. She is already greatly missed. In true Ms. Sharon fashion, this is not a goodbye, but instead it is a "See you later Gator."

It is so hard to find all the words and ways to describe Sharon because she had such a big personality! One thing to start with is if you knew Sharon you know this. She was one heck of a ball of energy! She was a bright, positive light whenever she walked into Indian Head Elementary! I am thankful for all the times she lifted my spirit through some trying moments. I could always count on her to jump right in with students, give suggestions, and find a way to get things to support our students. She was so passionate about what she did and the kids she worked with. Sharon really knew how to make all feel loved and important. So much love to family and friends of Sharon during this difficult time. Sharon, you will be so incredibly missed!

I only knew Ms. Sharon for a short time working at Parks, but she was an amazing person and OT. The kids she worked with loved knowing the schedule of when Sharon would by because of how much fun she made sessions! She also made doing hard things and learning easier for many students.

Her passion for the work she did was such a wonderful and special thing to witness on a daily basis. She cared about each child she worked with deeply and that type of passion you don’t see every day!
She was loved and cherished at Parks and will never be forgotten. Bless you Ms. Sharon.

Ms. Sharon was so much fun to work with!!! Whenever we brainstormed together about our students, it always turned into a social time.
We did Mustangs on the Run together with the 4th and 5th grade girls at JC Parks. She was always so enthusiastic and encouraging to the girls when we were all running.
I will miss having Ms. Sharon as a co-worker and friend and our team dinners will definitely not be the same with out her.
Thoughts and prayers, for her family and friends going through this difficult time.

I first met her last year at JC Parks. She was always with a smile. She loved the students and they loved her. She will be missed by all that knew her. She didn't just look after the students. I have a latex allergy and she always came to me to reassure me when something new was bought that it didn't have latex. I appreciated her including me on a lot of things. Prayers for her family.
