Sheila Jane (Fink)Tollefsen, peacefully passed away on May 11, 2024, in Leonardtown, Maryland, at the age of 79. Born on November 6, 1944, in Charleston, West Virginia, she was a beloved soul who touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Sheila, known to all as Jane, was a kind and caring woman who adored her family. She had a passion for yellow roses, cooking, and crocheting. With a sweet and nurturing nature, she was cherished by all. Jane retired after 32 years from Safeway and also worked as a cashier at Cedarville Carryout.
Jane will be deeply missed by her surviving family members: daughters Katharine Nelson-Rexroth (Larry) and Wanda Nelson; grandchildren Katrina Hall (John), Lisa Nelson, Jamie Nelson, Damien Lynch, Mathew Dotson; great-grandchildren Austin Coughlin, Seth Goddard, Kaitlin Kimble, Landon Machesney, Carson Dotson; sisters Janet Pitchford, Kathy Lawley; brother Jerry Vance. She was preceded in death by her mother Maxine Quade, grandmother Gertrude Fink, grandfather Charles Fink, brothers Leroy, Robert, William Fink, son Charles Nelson, husband Jeff Tollefsen, and others.
A memorial service in honor of Jane's life will be held on Sunday, June 2nd, at 11 am at Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland, 20601. The Huntt Funeral Home in Waldorf, Maryland, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
