Shellis Marie Duke

Shellis was born on May 9,1983 to Valerie Duke and Frederick Jones. Shellis had a big heart and was loved by many. Everyone that has met her described her as kindhearted with a contagious smile and laugh. She was and loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She was a person who anyone can come to for advice and a listening ear.

Shellis lived a full and vibrant life with more love than most. Her family and friends meant more to her than words can describe. She loved playing games and watching movies with her sons.

She is survived by her two sons Sean Smith and Ryan Isaac, her siblings Duane Smith, Valencia Duke, Chrystelle Dawkins, Dion Dawkins, Breanna Spradley and Jerrell Gaynor. Shellis memory will be cherished by her Aunts Tamara Barbee and Jean Corbin who were like sisters to her and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Her home going service will be held at Heritage Memorial Cemetery in Waldorf, MD at 12 noon.
