Butler, as well as her children, siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and countless friends who Shirley always considered to be family. Shirley will be deeply missed by all.

A private memorial service will be held at 11:00am on May 12, 2018, at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park in Largo, Florida. A celebration of life will be held in early June. The date, time and location are to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, pay Shirley’s kindness forward – spend time with friends and family, send a card, make a phone call or simply be kind to a stranger. Donations may also be made to Calvert Hospice ( Photos may be viewed and shared here:

David and Family,
No words can express the sorrow in our hearts. Shirley was one of a kind. She was a mom to Jen when I wasn't there and I will be forever grateful. She was a special, loving and giving person who will be missed by many but remembered by all who knew her. Please know of our love and prayers during this difficult time. She is finally at peace.
