Thomas Crockett "Pop" Presley died December 9, 2011 at his home in Waldorf, Maryland. Mr. Presley was born on March 27, 1926 in Newhall, West Virginia. Mr. Presley was a veteran of The US Navy where he served during WWII as a Tail Gunner. He was a recipient of The Silver and Bronze Star. Later he was a master carpenter and was responsible for training many to become a skilled craftsman. He enjoyed being outside, working in his garden and spending time with his grand and great-grandchildren. Mr. Presley was an avid horse racing fan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Marguerite "Marge" Presley. He is survived by his son Larry Fowler and his wife Barbara, his daughter Michaela Johnston, son Pat Presley and his wife Shirley, daughter Lynne Householder and her husband Brian and son Dennis Presley, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 14th, 2011, at 2:00 pm. at The Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland.
