VoThi "Tin" Maltbie

March 12, 1948 – July 17, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, VoThi Maltbie (Tin), departed this world and gained her wings on July 17, 2025, at the age of 77.

Tin was a source of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love. Her life was a testament to resilience and grace, and she leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Susan, Linda, Jeremiah, and Joseph; her cherished grandchildren: Damian, Ayrton, Peyton, Tyller, Janiah, and Jaxson; and her precious great-grandchildren: Isaiah and Aurelia.

Tin had a quiet but powerful presence. She was known for her incredible cooking—her Egg Rolls and Fried Rice were family favorites, always made with love and shared generously. She had a green thumb and could coax life from even the most stubborn plants, filling her home with vibrant greenery and fragrant herbs. Her laughter, though soft, could light up a room, and her stories—told in a mix of Vietnamese and English—were treasured windows into her past and heritage.

She taught her family the value of hard work, humility, and kindness. Whether it was through a gentle touch on the shoulder or a knowing glance, Tin had a way of making everyone feel seen and loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Huntt Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and gratitude for the beautiful life she lived.

Her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
