

William Stewart Quade, 90, of Brandywine, died June 24, 2011 in Waldorf, Maryland. Born June 29, 1920 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late William C. and the late Marie T. O'Brien Quade. He was retired from the U.S. Coast Guard and the Maryland District Court. While in the Coast Guard, he traveled throughout the United States returning to Maryland after retirement. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Iona Mae Hartman who died in 1993, sisters Anna Goode Swann, Mary Catherine Rye, Patricia Latham Twiford and brothers John E. Quade Sr,, Charles R. Quade and James A. Quade. He is survived by his daughters Deelaina Mae Estep and her husband Gerald E. Estep, Sr. of St. Leonard and Jodee Pritchett of La Plata. He is also survived by his sister Margaret M. Corcoran of Mooresville, North Carolina, grandchildren Raymond E. Goode, Gerald E. Estep Jr., Kellee Mae Blomgren, Stuart R. Pritchett and Laurel Colleen Pritchett, 9 Great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on July 5, 2011, at 10:00 am at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham.
