Anna J. Salazar

Anna was a member of Templo Cristiano A/D for over 70 years and was a licensed minister for the Northwest Hispanic District. She dedicated her years in ministry to being a Missionette sponsor, Sunday Schoolteacher, and held several leadership roles in her local church and section. She was devoted to the Lord’s calling on her life and was an exemplary Christian woman.

Anna enjoyed spending time with her family, tending to her flowers, watching the Seattle Mariners, and studying the word of God. Her great-grandchildren, Eva, Daniel, Sarai, Joshua, and Alfredo “Juney” were her pride and joy.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Salazar, her son Robert Salazar III, one brother and four sisters.

She is survived by her daughter Becky and her husband Robert Perez of Wapato, her grand Children Roberto (Rachel) Perez of Bellevue, Richie Perez of Yakima, Krystal (Alfredo) Quintero, David Perez of Wapato, one brother and one sister.

Viewing will be held Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. with services beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Templo Cristiano A/D, 102 E 5th St, Wapato. Concluding services will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. also at Templo Cristiano. Burial will be immediately following the service at Reservation Community Park in Wapato. Merritt Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
