

Cleo was a former farm wife, farmer, school cook, and realtor. She was an active member of The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliaries, a former state legislative candidate, a PTA officer, and an active volunteer in many service organizations.
Cleo is survived by her two sons, Carl R. Anderson of Olympia, Washington and Gene G. Anderson of Lighthouse Point, Florida; seven grandchildren, Carl W. Anderson, Sarah R. Wartman, Nancy Dunkelberger, M. Brook Anderson, Michael S. Anderson, Paige R. Simeonoff, and Michael A.J. Anderson; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Passing before Cleo were her parents; two sisters and a brother; also her husband of 42 years, Ray L. Anderson of Harrah; and her second husband of 6 years, David (Mike) Woods of Yakima.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Merritt Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be private per family request. The family would like to thank Cleo’s many relatives and friends for their support, especially her niece Laloni Brown, the VFW of Yakima, The American Legion of Yakima, and also the staff of Memorial Hospital and Hospice for their compassion and care.
