Elnora Lurene Turner

Elnora L. Turner, 77, of Gleed, passed away peacefully April 24, 2016 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.

Elnora was born November 10, 1938 in Wapato, Washington to Irma and Rollo Goldsmith. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and arts and looked forward to her Tuesday ladies knitting group at North Star. Elnora loved and enjoyed surrounding herself with her family and passing down her long standing family traditions.

She married Don Turner with whom she enjoyed many years of travel, living in Alaska and Yakima.

She is survived by her three children, Jeff Tolle of Selah, WA, Debbie Clark of Gleed, WA and Ted and Kathy Tolle of Naches, WA; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Harold Goldsmith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Turner of Gleed her grandson, Kevin Turner of Gleed, her siblings and parents. She is also survived by six step children and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

She was a gentle woman who was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

As per her wishes there will be no memorial services held. Merritt Funeral Home is entrusted with cremation arrangements.
