Joshua L Roy

Joshua Lucas Roy, 24, passed away on March 2, 2012 in Harrah, Washington. Born August 2, 1987 to Tina Speedis and Nathan Roy in Toppenish,Washington, he graduated from Chemawa Indian School in 2005 and loved skate boarding as a kid.

Joshua loved his son Malakie Queahpama Roy and enjoyed hanging out with his son, brothers and sisters at every opportunity. He was someone who was always on the move and never liked to be tied down in one spot.

Joshua is survived by his mother Tina Speedis; son Malakie Roy; brothers Mathew Sohappy, Nicholas Roy, Adam Young, Nathan Roy Jr.; sisters Jerri James, Taija Roy, and Kiana Roy.

He was preceded in death by his father Nathan Roy Sr., Levi Roy, and Gwendolyn Strong.

Dressing Service will be Saturday, March 3rd at 2:00 p.m. at Merritt Funeral Home in Wapato, WA

Overnight Service will be Saturday and Sunday nights March 3rd and 4th at the White Swan Longhouse.

A Sunrise Burial will be on Monday, March 5th at the 1910 Shaker Church Cemetery in White Swan, WA
