

Pete graduated from toppenish High School in 1961, where he lettered in football, basketball and wrestling as well as sang in choir and was a member of the tumbling team. After graduating high school Pete joined the Navy and served for nearly 30 years in various duty stations around the world to include two tours of duty in the Vietnam War in Nga Bay and Saigon. in 1992 Pete retired from the Navy, holding the rank od Senior Chief Patty officer (E-8), and returned to Toppenish to pursue farming. Pete was an avid farmer and was passionately supportive of the Yakima Valley Farmers Market serving as President for a number of years. His involvement in growing and selling fruits and vegetables from the greater Yakima Valley took him to the western side of the state where he sold in Coupeville, Oak Harbor, and Port ludlow Farmer's Markets.
During the off seasons from farming and markets, Pete enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, watching football, golf, Fox News, and a good cup of coffee.
Pete is survived by the Love of his life, kathy Pescador. Pete and Kathy were married in 2004 in Idaho at The Hitching Post, where they were stuck for days due to massive amounts of snow. Pete and Kathy have enjoyed a happy life together with bountiful laughter, smiles and loving family. Pete is also survived by his sister June Baldoz and his nieces Joann and Ruby as well as a grandnephew and grandniece. Pete's legacy will continue on with his children, Peter and wife Laura, Laura Wheeler, william and wife Michelle, Matthew and wife Gordana, Aimee Rodriguez and husband Redalfo, and Michele. Stepchildren and families; Tracy, Jason, and children Lana and Olivia Terry, David and children Chris and Vanessa Cutten, Ginger and child Vincent. Grandchildren; Nina Pescador, Marina Castillo, Bronte Pescador, Katelyn Pescador,Will and Liam Pescador, Ernesto Rodriguez, and Mattie-Rae Briskey. Great-grandchildren; Jaselle and Janae; Jordoan and Xavier. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Alma Marques and Alma Merrie Pescador.

Service/Life Celebration for Pete will be held on Saturday, january 26th at 1:00 p.m. at the Filipino Community Hall in Wapato. 211 West 2nd Street, Wapato, Washington 98951. pete had an infectious personality that always made him the life of the conversation. He was loved by family and all who were in his presence. We will miss his love of family, compassion, "always do what is right" attitude, and adventurous spirit.
