

He came to the United States in September 1971. He loved working, BBQ’s, dancing, watching football and his novels. But most of all singing Ramon Ayala with his daughters and joking around and always trying and being the best father not only to his daughters but too his “SONS” that looked up to him. He was a loving person who would always welcome you with open arms. Everyone who knew him always knew him to have the biggest smile and his nice walk. His favorite hobby was playing bingo and going to the Casino. His heart was full of love but that love didn’t grow any bigger that’s how big his heart was. His favorite word for his children was “COME ON” He raised 6 kids and that’s not including the many more who thought of him more than a friend.
He is survived by his 6 beautiful children Yesika and (Steven Prieto), Martin Zaragoza, Mayda and (Pablo Castellon) Rigoberto Gonzales Jr, Cassandra Gonzales and (Jaime Skoken). His pride and joy baby girl Stephanie Gonzales. And his #1 nephew and also raised him like his son Saul Gonzales. Five spoiled grandchildren Ruby Prieto “Boo”, Steven Prieto Jr.(Jay R), Esayla Skoken (Sela) and JayTee Castellon (Jay Tizo)
He is proceeded in death by his parents Esequiel and Enriquetta Gonzales; 2 brothers Lucas Gonzales and Juan Lino Gonzales; his sisters Carolina Gonzales and Blanca Gonzales. He is survived by his brothers and sisters Celia Gonzales, Wapato, WA., Mario Gonzales, Wapato, WA., Manuela Gonzales, Wapato, WA., Carmela Gonzales Lakewood, WA., Monica Gonzales Bellevue, WA., Maria Gonzales Bellevue, WA., Maria Dolores Gonzales Wapato, WA., and Esequiel Gonzales of New Mexico.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Merritt Funeral Home from 3-7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 12 noon also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Reservation Community Memorial Park.
