

Roseline E. Charley passed on March 13, 2014 at her home in Wapato surrounded by her loving family. Roseline was born January 21, 1946 to Ramona and Raymond James Sr. in Yakima. Roseline was raised in Toppenish, was a member of the Yakama Nation, and was a graduate from Toppenish High School. During her younger years Roseline made many, many friends and these friendships lasted throughout her life time.
On January 25, 1969 Roseline married William G. Charley at the White Swan Log Church and together they raised their children; a son, Cameron Jim Charley, and daughters, Kimberly and LeDonna Charley. Roseline was dedicated to her family and her family was always her first priority. Her happiest times were spent with her children and grandchildren and she will be dearly missed.
Roseline is survived by her children; Cameron, Kimberly, and LaDonna Charley; her grandchildren, Noah Teeias Salazar, Logan William Charley, and Aeryn Charley; her brother, Ralph James; and her sister, Ramona Kreis. She was preceded in death by her husband William G. Charley.
There will be a Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home in Wapato on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 11:00 to 1:30 p.m. followed by the Burial Service at Logi-Umtuch Cemetery in Toppenish. A pot-luck dinner will be held afterwards at the Toppenish Community Center. Please bring your favorite dish.
