Sheena Rae Totus

Sheena Rae Totus of Wapato, 27, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in Yakima, WA. She was born in Yakima to Elton and Bonita (Tahkeal) Totus on December 22, 1984. Sheena was a member of the Yakama Nation and was currently attending school taking classes in computer science.

Sheena is survived by her mother Bonita K. Tahkeal of Wapato; her daughter Iliana Gutierrez of Wapato; sister Kendra Tahkeal-Metsker of Wapato; and brothers Clarence E. Whitefoot, Dustin D. Whitefoot, Patrick S. Whitefoot, George K. Kishwalk Jr., and Brandon V. Tahkeal all of Wapato; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Dressing Service will be held today from 1-4:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Merritt Funeral Home in Wapato, WA. An Overnight Service will follow at the Toppenish Longhouse. Burial Service will be held on Thursday morning, October 11, 2012 at the Toweetmy Cemetery located south of Toppenish, WA.
