

Teri Kim Johnson-Davis, 55, passed away on July 22, 2013 at Yakima Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Teri was born on September 8, 1957 in Toppenish, Washington to Cecelia Gardee Johnson and Ollie Coleman Johnson. Teri was raised in Compton, California and graduated from Dominguez High School in Compton, California. Teri also graduated from the University of Alaska in Anchorage with a B.A. in Sociology and from Colorado Tech. University with a Masters Degree in Project Management.
Teri was a child model and she also enjoyed participating in drill team as a student. Later, Teri’s favorite activity was traveling to Hawaii every year with her father to watch the Pro-Bowl, traveling throughout the U.S., sewing, quilting, and spending time with her family.
Teri is survived by her daughter Marisa Smith; brothers, Eric Johnson and Aaron Johnson Sr.; sisters, Jeanine Truesdale, Ashli Johnson, Staci Holman, and Briana Barriga.
Teri was preceded in death by her parents Cecelia Gardee Johnson and Ollie Coleman Johnson Sr.; sister, Eunice Armstrong; brothers Mike Zaragoza II and Ollie Johnson Jr.
Visitation will be today, Wednesday, July 24th, 2013 at Merritt Funeral Home in Wapato from from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Merritt Funeral Home on Thursday, July 25th, 2013 starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Union Gap Cemetery.
