Aunt Pat and Uncle Bob were two of the mainstays of our extended family in the 50s and 60s and helped us in so many ways. Aunt Pat taught me manners by making me read Emily Post's book on etiquette, while Uncle Bob had me read automotive engine theory and taught me that one of the keys to a good life was honesty. Our families shared many good times with picnics, cook outs, trips to see Grandad in Coweta, fishing on Grand Lake, and holiday celebrations. What a thrill the kids got when Aunt Pat took us to see her dad and would take that 1959 Chevy "airborne" over the dips in the streets. We will all miss her but those and many memories will remain forever.
