Al was born on October 17, 1932 in Detroit, MI.
He was hard working and always dedicated to finishing the task at hand. This dedication started at an early age for Al. He was a captain in the ROTC during high, eventually going on to serve honorably in the United States Army. Upon his discharge he then went on to being employed by Detroit Edison where he worked his way up to general foreman. He was also an active member in the Knights of Columbus in his younger years.
In his free time, he loved maintaining his garden, was an excellent marksman enjoying both bow and firearms shooting and was an avid enthusiast and collector of model trains. However, above all, Al cherished his family where he and his wife Anna spent 52 years married and together created a happy home for their three children.
Al is survived by his son Alec (Shelly) Marinello, daughter Catherine (Joe) Palma, daughter-in-law Luma Marinello, granddaughter Shelly (Rob) Spinazzola, grandson Christopher Marinello, great granddaughter Gianna and great grandson Gino.
