Alexander Paul Miga, age 38 of Warren, died Saturday, February 25, 2016 at home. He was born May 25, 1977 in Warren, son of Mark & Deborah (nee: Brown) Miga. Alex will always be remembered for his outgoing personality and infectious spirit. He loved people and truly enjoyed engaging them in conversation. And with Alex, it wouldn't be long before he would have you laughing with his unique and wonderful sense of humor. Though he garnered much from his interactions with the adult world, it was the little ones that melted his heart. Alex possessed a warm and loving adoration for children,…especially when it came to his dear nieces. Like most men, Alex had an affinity for cars and could easily have his head turned by an old classic. When it comes to the adage, "to each his own," for Alex, that meant the beauty and power of a Pontiac Trams Am,…preferably something from the 70's era. His other passion in life had to do with his love of water, specifically in the recreational water sports genre. He dabbled in a few different modes,…from kayaking, canoeing, river rafting, and just about anything that could provide a little aquatic entertainment. If it floated, you'd probably find Alex in it on occasion. Yet nothing could beat the recreation he enjoyed on his trips to Aruba and Jamaica. Hittin' the tropics for a little sun & fun had his name all over it. Aruba, Jamaica,…kind of sounds like the beginning to a Beach Boys song, doesn't it?A life gone far too soon from our presence, Alex's light will shine on through the present darkness until the day that his absence is replaced by the angel tending watch. He loved his family, and all the family get-togethers that provided him the countless hours of fun and memories to match. He will be missed immensely and loved eternally. Alex was the beloved son of Deborah (James) Drabik, and Mark (Elizabeth) Miga. Loving brother of Brandon (Melissa), David, Renee, and Veronica. Dearest grandson of Casmira (the late Matthew) Miga, the late Barbara Brown, and the late Edwin Brown. Visitation for Alex will be held Wednesday, March 2nd from 3-9pm, with a 7:00 pm Rosary Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road) in Warren. Alex will lie in state on Thursday from 10:30 am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Sterling Heights. Interment will follow at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. Please share memories of Alex at his memory book above.
