

Alexandria “Sandy” Koukoulas of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away peacefully on May 19th, 2026, at the age of 83. Sandy was born August 14, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of William and Virgina (Dinny) Anton.
Sandy was a proud founding member and director of the Glendi Greek dance group, where she shared her love of Greek culture, music, and tradition with countless performers and audiences over the years. Through her dedication and leadership, she helped create lasting friendships and cherished memories within the Greek community. For many years, Sandy also worked at Pewabic Pottery as an events coordinator, where her creativity, warm personality, and attention to detail made every gathering special. A true lover of the arts, she had a lifelong passion for theater, pottery, and artistic expression, and she found great joy in surrounding herself with beauty, culture, and creativity.
Beloved wife of the late Constandine (Dino) for 49 years. Devoted mother to Yanni (Cara) Koukoulas. Proud and loving Yiayia of Constandina and Sophia Koukoulas. Dear sister of the late Dollie (Fred) Craprotta, Bill Jr (the late Monika) Anton, Linda (David) Olshefsky. Nuna and Thea to Steve (Anna) Craprotta, Thea to Alexis (Alan) Kern and the late Freddy Craprotta Jr.
Visitation Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 3200 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, in Warren, with a Trisagion at 6:00pm. Instate will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 9:00am until the time of the funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. John Greek Orthodox Church 11455 Metro Pkwy, in Sterling Heights. Interment to follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, in Clinton Township.
