Angeline Christine Neumann, age 89 of Warren, died Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Shelby Nursing Center in Shelby Township, Michigan. She was born June 1, 1927 in Detroit, daughter of the late John and the late Clara (nee: Dysarczyk) Florke. She was but a young 24 year old girl who had been dating a dashing young man by the name of Louis when cupid's arrow, ultimately, led them to the altar at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Detroit,…and the two hearts became one in the sight of family and friends alike. The year was 1951 and their marriage was just the beginning of a wonderful life together building a home, raising a family, and growing deeper in love with each passing day. Their romance would carry them through the next 51 years until Louis' passing in 2002. They were longtime residents of Warren.Along with being the consummate homemaker and Mom, Angeline was known for her great cooking skills and loved to work her magic in the kitchen. And not merely the creator of her culinary delights, she also found great delight in serving and waiting on others ahead of herself. Often being the last one to sit down to the table, it was important to Angeline that everyone else was eating and happy first. As for Angeline and her eating pleasures, there was one thing that she loved above all else,…Ice Cream! Everything else could fall away, but she lived for her ice cream treats. To those who knew Angeline, they'll also attest to her deep and abiding faith. She called St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church her home and was extremely involved in many of its activities. And her devout faith reached out through so many aspects of her life,…most specifically within her family and amongst her closest friends. But there was never a doubt who remained her dearest cherubs,…her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life and gave special meaning to each opportunity she was afforded in their company. She drove them to school and doted on them in every way possible,…but there was never any spoiling going on. She leaves behind a host of wonderful and endearing memories of times spent with loved ones and friends. To all who were blessed to share in the making of those precious moments, may each reflection bring her close again. She will be missed immensely and loved eternally. Angeline was the beloved wife of the late Louis G. Neumann. Dearest mother of Christine (Philip) Jackson, Mark Neumann, Philip Neumann, and the late Keith Neumann. Loving grandmother of Scott (Cathleen), Erik, Jaclyn, and great-grandmother of Briana and Hailey Neumann. Sister of Barbara Kluczynski, and sister-in-law of Mary (the late George) Neumann, Francis (Patricia) Neumann, Roy (Frances) Neumann, and former mother-in-law of Cheryl Ranger. Visitation for Angeline will be held Wednesday, November 9th from 3-9pm, with a 4:30 pm Rosary Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren. She will lie in state on Thursday from 9:00 am until time of the Funeral Mass at 9:30 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Warren. Officiating the liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Nick Zukowski.Interment will follow the Mass at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan. Please share memories of Angeline at her memory book above.
