Anna Rae Souve

After high school, she and her brother “Bug” came north to work in the war effort. She worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” putting wings on airplanes. She was the fifth child and first girl in a family of 10 children born to Cornelius Wallace and Bessie Wallace (nee: Wallace).

In addition to her parents, Anna Rae was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Samuel Edward Souve, and siblings Carmel Wallace (Jenny Dare), Guy Wallace (Eula Lee), Kenton Wallace (Ruby), Cornelius Wallace “Bug,” Remus Wallace, Rudale Wallace Austin (Don Austin), Morris Wallace (Sally), Bonnie Mae Bolen (nee: Wallace), and Russell Gene Wallace.

She is survived by her three daughters, Barbaram Rhonda and Sondra, sister in law and best friend, Lois Wallace, brother in law Billy Bolen, granddaughter Kira Colombo, great granddaughters Audrianna Vollmar and Gia Colombo-Sharp and many nieces, nephews, best pal Sharon Fountain and extended family.

Anna Rae’s family will hold a Visitation on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 2:00pm-7:00pm with a Funeral Service at 7:00pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd., Warren, MI 48088 (Schoenherr and Masonic).
