Annie Mae Smith, age 73 of Hazel Park, died Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren. She was born on August 10, 1946, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Arthur and the late Irene (nee: Suggars) Hughes.
Annie was the loving mother of Kareem (Channie) Price, Henry (Patricia) Hughes, Pamela Hughes, Valerie Smith, and Allen (Curtestine) Smith. Adored grandmother of Kenisha, April, Tywanna, Alicia, Joshua, Tristian, Allen Jr., Kayla, Kirah, Kadin, Naudia, Natasha, and Nigel. Cherished great-grandmother of 12. Dear sister of Johnny Ray, Arthur Hughes, Martin McKinny, Edward Carroll, Johnny Hughes, Martha Hughes, and Willie Hughes. Special aunt of Linda Hart and Martha Hughes.
