

Arland G. Howe, Al - age 80 of Warren, died Friday, December 12, 2003 at St. John Macomb Hospital Center in Warren Michigan. He was born July 29, 1923 in Charlevoix, Michigan the son of the late Ernest P. Howe and the late Clara (nee: Compton) Howe. He is survived by his wife Marion. Dear father of Gayle (Joseph) Chlebnik, Peggy Palladino, and Angela (Steven) Skiba. Loving grandfather of David (Karen) Chlebnik, Anne Chlebnik, William Palladino, Christopher Palladino, Caitlin Skiba, and Gillian Skiba. Great Papa of Georgia Lynne Chlebnik. Brother of Jan Dukes. Mr. Howe will lie in state Tuesday 9:00 am at St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church, until time of Funeral Mass 9:30 am. The Rev. Fr. Andrew Czarnecki will preside. Visitation Monday 5-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common, (12 mile). Scripture Service Monday 7:00 pm. Mr. Howe retired from the Army after 20 years as Chief Warrant Officer, serving during WWII with the 4th Cavalry Division in the European Theatre, then during the Korean War with the 17th Infantry Regiment. After his military service Mr. Howe worked in logistics for TACOM in Warren, finally retiring for the second time in 1986. Mr. Howe loved to Golf, going to Florida, and watching horse racing. Last year he attended the Preakness Horse Race. Also he very much enjoyed having lunch with his buddies.
