Aunt Audrey holds a special place in our hearts because she  played a big role in getting our parents together.  Mom and Audrey became friends at Eastern High School and when Audrey discovered that Mom didn’t have a boyfriend she arranged a date for Mom and her brother Jim.  It should come as no surprise that the date was set for the Vanity Ballroom.  
We know she had a rich a full life with her children and grandchildren.  May your memories help sustain you through this difficult time.

Audrey married my Uncle Bob.  To me it was obvious they were meant for each  other when they married.  They were very happy.  My mother Elaine, Bob's older sister and oldest child in the family was very fond of Audrey.  She was a fine woman.  Peace and rest for you Aubrey.

So sorry we could not make the visitation.  What beautiful pictures of her and the family she created.  If there is any dancing in heaven, she will be with Carol and Larry.  Looks like she had a great life and family.

She was the best Mother you could ever ask for.
Such a kind and loving mother,wife,grandmother,great grandmother,sister and aunt. She will never be forgotten and her spirit and love will live on in
the hearts of every person in her life.

A lot of guys complain about their mother-in-law. There are books filled with mother-in-law jokes. But not me. I had one of the best: Audrey.

For the past 43 years, from the time Ellen and I started dating, Audrey was always good to me. She put up with my jokes, even when she didn't understand them, and she loved me and treated me like a son.

Coming from a large family, Audrey had simple tastes. Over the past few years, Ellen and I enjoyed taking Audrey to Mass on Saturday, followed by a nice dinner. We'd go through the long list of restaurants near the church and her apartment. And, no matter which restaurant we chose, she would usually order something simple, like a hamburger.

Audrey loved to dance, and every chance she had -- like at family weddings -- she would be one of the first on the dance floor, cutting a rug. If somewhere in Heaven there's a dance, the first one to elbow her way onto the floor will be a little, white-haired lady: Audrey.

In her senior years, Audrey's life was filled with grandchildren, great grandchildren, activities, and joy that only a pandemic could stop.

I will miss my lovely, lovable, and loving mother-in-law, Audrey. 

A wonderful, kind, lovely lady inside and out that was very devoted to her family. She was a special part of our family for years.  She will be missed terribly. My sympathy to the family.
