Barbara Jozwiak

August 3, 1948 - January 3, 2025

Barbara Jozwiak, of Warren, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of Eugene Jozwiak for 52 years.

Barb was born on August 3, 1948. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, where she grew up with a tight knit group of friends. In 1969, Barb met Eugene Jozwiak and the two married in 1972. The couple had two children, Mark (Christy) Jozwiak and Karen (Terry) Dykhouse. While her kids were in school, Barb could often be seen helping in their classrooms, driving them to their sporting events, and lending a hand to anyone who needed it.

Barb loved being active in the lives of her four grandchildren, Landon, Beckett, and Meredith Jozwiak and Addalie Dykhouse. She took pride in cheering them on in their sports and activities. Barb enjoyed playing bingo and doing puzzles. She also looked forward to getting together with and playing pinochle monthly with her friends.

She is predeceased by her mother Shirley (Harry) Sharp, father Mike Andriths and brother Michael Andriths. She is also predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Francis and Beaulah Jozwiak.

Barb is survived by her brother Gary (Debra) Andriths and her sister-in-law Elaine Franklin. She is also survived by several close friends, nieces and nephews and godchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Capuchin Franciscan Province of St. Joseph.

Friends may visit the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI 48088 on Saturday, January 11, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

A Funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, January 12 at 12:00 Noon in the A.H. Peters Funeral Home chapel where Barb will lie in state from 11:00 A.M. until the noon service.
