Benjamin H. Tackett, 61, of Warren, died Friday, October 22, 2010 at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights. He was born September 22, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Earl and Edna (Littrell) Tacket. Benjamin served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era and was recipient of a Bronze Star. He was a machinist, having worked for E.R. Tool in Warren for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 154. He is survived by his wife, Mary (nee Busquaert); children, Dawn M. Tackett and Michael (Dawn R.) Tackett; grandchildren, Korrin and Dakota; and, siblings, Joann Childs, Geraldine Martin, Ina May Franklin and Gilbert Howell. Visitation is 2-9 pm Monday at D. S. Temrowski Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover, Warren. A funeral service will be held at 7 pm Monday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
